In Sudan, war has forced families from their homes onto the land, with no shelter or certainty of their next meal. This is where Humanitarian Action for Sudan’s (HAS) work begins…

Humanitarian Action Sudan partnered with a group of women already leading efforts on the ground on a clear goal: getting food to those who need it most. 

Last week, we delivered food to 150 displaced families in Sudan, comprising elderly people, women, children and those too weak to care for themselves. Though small, these bags of food were able to offer something deeply needed - the first moment of relief in a long time. 

Many people told us this was a rare moment of joy in the immense difficulties they are facing each day.  

But we could not reach everyone. The needs are immense, and our resources are limited. Bags of flour had to be split into quarter kilos. We want to continue our work and for that we need your help.
