مخاوف من مقتل مئات بالسودان في هجوم لـ«الدعم السريع» على معسكر زمز

قالت وزارة الخارجية السودانية ومنظمات إغاثة إن مئات أصيبوا وقتلوا في هجوم مدمر شنته «قوات الدعم السريع» شبه العسكرية على معسكر زمزم للنازحين بالقرب من الفاشر، فيما وصفه البعض بأنه أحد أسوأ الانتهاكات منذ اندلاع الحرب

ذكرت المنسقية العامة للنازحين واللاجئين، في بيان، أن الموجة الأولى من الهجمات المتعددة بدأت يوم الخميس واستمرت الهجمات حتى يومي الجمعة والسبت، مما أدى إلى تدمير منازل وأسواق ومرافق للرعاية الصحية

قالت المنسقية أن «الوضع الإنساني في الفاشر ينحدر بسرعة نحو كارثة غير مسبوقة»، مشيرة إلى وقوع مجاعة ونقص الأدوية وانعدام تام للأمن

Hundreds feared dead in Sudan in RSF attacks on Zamzam camp

The Sudanese Foreign Ministry and aid organisations said hundreds were injured and killed in a devastating attack by the RSF on the Zamzam internally displaced persons camp near El Fasher, in what some described as one of the worst outrages since the outbreak of the war.

The General Coordination for Displaced Persons and Refugees said in a statement that the first wave of multiple attacks began on Thursday and continued through Friday and Saturday, destroying homes, markets, and healthcare facilities.

The Coordination said that the humanitarian situation in El Fasher is rapidly descending into an unprecedented catastrophe citing famine, medicine shortages, and total insecurity.

اجبرت الحرب على المدنيين في شمال دارفور الجاري لفرار عشرات الالاف من مدينة الفاشر وريفها ومعسكراتها ومناطق اخري على راسها المالحة وام كدادة الى مناطق اخري امنة لم تصلها الهجمات بالولاية

Civilians under siege: bullets and hunger claim lives in El Fasher, Zamzam, and Umm Kadada

Over the course of two weeks, hundreds of civilians, including children and women, have been killed and wounded in El Fasher neighbourhoods and its camps (Abu Shouk, Al Salam, and Zamzam), as well as in Umm Kadada, North Darfur.

This is the worst wave of violence and mass killings unleashed by the Rapid Support Forces against civilians as part of their relentless efforts to control El Fasher and tighten the siege which has lasted more than a year.

The ongoing war on civilians in North Darfur has forced tens of thousands to flee El Fasher, as well as its countryside, its camps, and other areas - most notably al-Maliha and Umm Kadada - to safer areas in the state untouched by attacks.

الأمم المتحدة تندد بهجوم الدعم السريع على مخيمات النازحين بشمال دارفو

قالت منسقة الأمم المتحدة المقيمة في السودان، كليمنتاين نكويتا سلامي إن الهجوم على مخيم زمزم قرب الفاشر بولاية شمال دارفور يُعد تصعيدًا مميتً ضد النازحين وعمال الإغاثة

طالبت بالكف الفوري عن هذه الأعمال، وإنهاء الهجمات على المدنيين والعاملين في المجال الإنساني

أبدت خشيتها من مقتل 100 شخص، منهم 20 طفلًا، مؤكدة أن 9 من موظفي المساعدة الإنسانية قُتلوا أثناء تشغيل أحد المراكز الصحية المتبقية التي لا تزال تعمل في مخيم زمزم

عمليات القتل نُسبت إلى الجيش وأفراد من الأجهزة الأمنية التابعة للدولة، ومليشيات ومقاتلين مرتبطين بالقوات المسلحة

The United Nations condemns the Rapid Support Forces’s attack on displaced persons camps in North Darfur

The UN Resident Coordinator in Sudan, Clementine Nkweta-Salami, said that the attack on Zamzam camp near El Fasher, North Darfur, is a deadly escalation against displaced persons and aid workers.

She called for an immediate halt to these actions and an end to attacks on civilians and humanitarian workers.

She expressed fears that 100 people, including 20 children, had been killed, confirming that nine humanitarian workers were killed while operating one of the remaining health centres still operating in the Zamzam camp.

دعوة أممية لمساعدة السودان في مواجهة "أسوأ أزمة نزوح"

وجهت منسقة الأمم المتحدة المقيمة، مسؤولة الشؤون الإنسانية في السودان كليمنتاين نكويتا سلامي اليوم السبت، نداء استغاثة جديدا للمجتمع الدولي بشأن الأوضاع المأساوية التي يواجهها ملايين السودانيين.

قالت نكويتا سلامي في حوار مع الموقع الرسمي للمنظمة الأممية: "نناشد المجتمع الدولي ألا ينسى السودان، وألا ينسى الرجال والنساء والأطفال في الذين وجدوا أنفسهم في وضع صعب للغاية ولحظة حرجة"

كانت منظمة الأمم المتحدة وشركاؤها قد أعلنت استهدافها جمع 4.2 مليارات دولار خلال العام الجاري، بهدف تقديم الدعم لنحو 30 مليون شخص في جميع أنحاء السودان، وهو الدعم الذي ما زالت المنظمة بعيدة عن تحقيقه

The United Nations calls for assistance to Sudan in addressing "worst displacement crisis”

The UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Sudan, Clementine Nkweta Salami, issued a new appeal to the international community on Saturday regarding the tragic conditions facing millions of Sudanese.

In an interview with the official UN website, Nkweta-Salami said: "We call on the international community not to forget Sudan, and not to forget the men, women, and children who find themselves in an extremely difficult and critical situation.”

The UN and its partners have announced a target of $4.2 billion this year to support approximately 30 million people across Sudan, a goal the organisation is still far from achieving.

أطباء: وفاة 45 ألف طفل بسوء التغذية في السودان خلال عامين

كشفت اللجنة التمهيدية لنقابة أطباء السودان عن حصيلة جديدة حول الوفيات وسط الأطفال بسبب سوء التغذية، حيث بلغت 45 ألف حالة وفاة منذ اندلاع النزاع

توقعت منظمة “يونيسف”، أن يعاني 3.2 مليون طفل من سوء التغذية الحاد هذا العام، منهم 770 ألف طفل يواجهون سوء التغذية الحاد الوخيم الذي يجعل الأطفال أكثر عرضة للوفاة من المرض بمقدار 11 مرة

 رصدت اللجنة وفاة طفل أو طفلين كل ساعة بمخيم كلما بجنوب دارفور ومخيم زمزم بشمال دارفور ومراكز الإيواء في مدينة أدري شرقي تشاد التي تستضيف مئات الآلاف من اللاجئين السودانيين

Doctors: 45,000 children dead from malnutrition in Sudan in two years

The Preparatory Committee of the Sudanese Doctors Syndicate revealed a new death toll among children due to malnutrition, reaching 45,000 deaths since the outbreak of the conflict.

UNICEF expects that 3.2 million children will suffer from acute malnutrition this year, including 770,000 children facing severe acute malnutrition, which makes children 11 times more likely to die from disease.

The committee monitored the death of one or two children every hour in Kalma camp in South Darfur, Zamzam camp in North Darfur, and shelters in the city of Adré in eastern Chad, which hosts hundreds of thousands of Sudanese refugees.

الصليب الأحمر يناشد أطراف الصراع السوداني التزام «إعلان جدة»

حذَّر الصليب الأحمر في تقريره بمناسبة مرور نحو عامين على اندلاع الحرب بين الجيش السوداني و«قوات الدعم السريع» من أن «التجاهل الصارخ لمبادئ القانون الدولي الإنساني والانخفاض الحاد في تمويل المساعدات الإنسانية» ساهما في تفاقم الأزمة الكارثية في السودان

قالت اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر إن اثنين من كل ثلاثة سودانيين لا يستطيعون الحصول على الرعاية الصحية بسبب تدمير معظم المنشآت الطبية جراء الحرب

حذَّرت اللجنة من أنها رصدت خلال عامين من النزاع في السودان وقوع هجمات مثيرة للقلق على مستشفيات ومنشآت أخرى للبنية التحتية، وطالبت بتكثيف الجهود الدبلوماسية والإنسانية لتقديم الإغاثة التي يحتاج إليها السودانيون

The Red Cross calls on parties to the Sudanese conflict to adhere to the Jeddah Declaration 

In its report marking nearly two years since the outbreak of war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) warned that "the blatant disregard for the principles of international humanitarian law and the sharp decline in humanitarian funding" have exacerbated the catastrophic crisis in Sudan.

The ICRC said that two out of three Sudanese cannot access healthcare due to the destruction of most medical facilities due to the war.

The ICRC warned that during the two years of conflict in Sudan, it had observed alarming attacks on hospitals and other infrastructure and called for intensified diplomatic and humanitarian efforts to provide the relief needed by the Sudanese people.
