«يونيسيف»: 100 ألف طفل في جنوب الخرطوم يواجهون كارثة بسبب نهب الإغاثة

بنهب إمدادات إغاثية من مستشفى بشائر جنوبي العاصمة السودانية ، مما يضع حياة 100 ألف طفل يعانون من سوء التغذية الحاد في كارثة.

أدانت منظمة يونيسيف، في بيان، نهب مواد إغاثية “كانت مخصصة لإنقاذ حياة الأطفال الذين يعانون من سوء التغذية ولتوفير الرعاية الصحية الأساسية للأمهات والموليد، من مستشفى بشائر”

قالت إن هذا النهب شمل 2,200 صندوق من صناديق الأغذية العلاجية الجاهزة للاستخدام، مما يُعرِّض حياة أكثر من ألفي طفل يعانون من سوء التغذية الحاد الوخيم للخطر

شددت يونيسيف على أن فقدان الإمدادات المنهوبة، بالتزامن مع وقف العمليات الإنسانية بسبب تدهور الأوضاع الأمنية، يدفع بالأطفال نحو حافة الهاوية

UNICEF: 100,000 children in southern Khartoum facing disaster because of looted aid 

Aid supplies were looted from Bashayer Hospital south of the Sudanese capital, putting the lives of 100,000 severely malnourished children at risk.

In a statement, UNICEF condemned the looting of relief supplies "intended to save the lives of malnourished children and provide essential maternal and newborn healthcare from Bashayer Hospital.”

The organisation stated that the looting included 2,200 boxes of ready-to-use therapeutic food, putting the lives of more than 2,000 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition at risk.        

UNICEF stressed that the loss of looted supplies, coupled with the suspension of humanitarian operations due to the deteriorating security situation, is pushing children to the brink.

نشر جنود في الجيش صورا لهم قالوا إنها من داخل مقر بنك السودان المركزي، وقال مصدر أمني سوداني إن الجيش استعاد رئاسة جهاز المخابرات العامة جنوب القيادة العامة

أفادت مصادر محلية بسماع تبادل إطلاق نار متقطع  بمحيط مطار الخرطوم الدولي والذي تسيطر قوات الدعم السريع على الجانب الجنوبي منه

Sudanese Armed Forces take control of new key sites in central Khartoum

The SAF said it has taken control of key sites in central Khartoum, including the Central Bank and the General Intelligence Service, and is advancing in the Al-Muqrin area after retaking the Republican Palace.

Soldiers in the army published photos of themselves, which they said were taken from inside the Central Bank of Sudan headquarters, while a Sudanese security source said that the army had retaken the headquarters of the General Intelligence Service, south of the General Command.

Local sources reported hearing intermittent exchanges of gunfire around Khartoum International Airport, the southern side of which is controlled by the RSF.

Widespread reactions to the Army’s recapture of the Presidential Palace

The army's announcement that it had retaken the presidential palace from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) sparked widespread reactions, and the move was welcomed by political forces and official bodies.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the recapture of the presidential palace as "another wedge in the coffin of the foreign conspiracy against Sudan's sovereignty, stability, unity, and the pride and dignity of its people.”

Darfur Governor Minni Arko Minawi congratulated the army leadership, the joint forces, and the Sudanese people on "liberating the palace, a symbol of national sovereignty.”

Yasser Arman, head of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement-Revolutionary Democratic Current, said that reaching the Republican Palace opens the door to political questions before military ones, without concealing the deep-rooted crisis linked to the regime of ousted President Omar al-Bashir.

مبعوث أممي سابق: الجيش سيرغم الدعم السريع على الانسحاب لدارفور

صرح فولكر بيرتيس، المبعوث الأممي السابق إلى السودان، أن النجاحات العسكرية الأخيرة التي حققها الجيش السوداني سوف ترغم قوات الدعم السريع على الانسحاب إلى معقلها في إقليم دارفور غرب البلاد.

أضاف بيرتس: "ستقتصر قوات الدعم السريع إلى حد كبير على دارفور.. سنعود إلى أوائل العقد الأول من القرن الحادي والعشرين"، في إشارة إلى الصراع بين الجماعات المتمردة وحكومة الخرطوم، التي كان يقودها الرئيس السابق عمر البشير.

Former UN envoy: Army will force Rapid Support Forces to withdraw to Darfur

Volker Perthes, the former UN envoy to Sudan, stated that the Sudanese army's recent military successes will force the Rapid Support Forces to withdraw to their stronghold in the western Darfur region of the country.

Perthes added that "the RSF will be largely confined to Darfur... We will return to the early 2000s”, referring to the conflict between rebel groups and the Khartoum government, led by former President Omar al-Bashir.

The Sudanese army has succeeded in taking control of several strategic sites in the capital, Khartoum, over the past two days, including the Presidential Palace, the Bank of Sudan, and the National Museum.

Civilians Under Fire… Battles in Khartoum, El Fasher, and El Obeid

Fierce battles and clashes between the army and the Rapid Support Forces continue to rage on several fronts, most notably Khartoum, North Darfur, and North Kordofan.

The Khartoum Local Emergency Room announced the deaths of 50 civilians, including 10 volunteers, and the arrest of 82 civilians in just one week.

The Yale University Humanitarian Affairs Laboratory reported that the Rapid Support Forces burned 18 villages in El Fasher, Tawila, Dar al-Salam, and Kalamdo in North Darfur.
